Job summary

EDGE Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled mechanical assembler for precision systems in advanced concepts. The role requires assembling aerospace and defense components, using torque tools and alignment devices, and maintaining tight tolerances across assemblies.

The candidate will document assembly steps, support integration with electrical/hydraulic subsystems, and collaborate with design and fabrication teams to ensure correct fit and function.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling aerospace, defense, or precision engineering products.
• Skilled in handling mechanical tools, fasteners, fittings, and alignment procedures.
• Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, or electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of precision parts, sub-assemblies, and complete systems based on engineering drawings and instructions.
• Use hand tools, torque tools, and alignment instruments to assemble components to tight tolerances.
• Conduct test fitting, adjustment, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems during prototyping.
• Work closely with design and fabrication teams to ensure parts fit and function as intended.
• Maintain assembly documentation, inspection records, and feedback reports.
• Ensure tools and workstations are maintained and follow safety and housekeeping standards.
• Assist in integration and testing of mechanical systems with electrical or hydraulic components, as required.
