Job summary

EDGE in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Technician to perform precision mechanical assembly of components and systems based on engineering drawings, using hand tools, torque tools, and measuring instruments. You will coordinate with design and fabrication teams to ensure accurate fitting, testing and quality control.

The role requires leading a small team of technicians, ensuring compliance with safety and ISO quality standards, and documenting assembly activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience in mechanical assembly or related field.
• 2+ years leading a team of technicians.
• Experience assembling aerospace, defense, or precision engineering products.
• Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, or electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble precision parts and complete systems per drawings.
• Lead and mentor team; monitor effectiveness.
• Perform test fitting, adjustments, and prototyping troubleshooting.
• Create assembly documentation and inspection records.
• Coordinate with design and fabrication teams to ensure fit and function.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping standards.
