Job summary

Caliberly is seeking a Product Development Manager - Training & Technical to lead industry-oriented training and enablement for engineers in product design and development. You will blend mentorship, technical leadership, and applied learning to guide early-career engineers through the full lifecycle from concept to prototype.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 10+ years in product development, lifecycle management, optimization, or simulation-led engineering.
• Proven mentoring or training experience for engineering teams.
• Strong PLM knowledge (Teamcenter, Windchill) and simulation workflows.
• Excellent communication and leadership with passion for talent development.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor early-career engineers through end-to-end product development projects.
• Design and deliver structured training programs covering concept design, simulation, optimization, prototyping, and validation.
• Facilitate hands-on workshops on PLM, DOE, sensitivity analysis, and simulation data management.
• Coach teams on integrating simulation workflows within PLM for collaboration and performance.
• Drive technical enablement initiatives with tailored learning paths and templates.
• Supervise prototype projects applying engineering principles and data-driven methods.
• Collaborate with academics and industry mentors to evolve the curriculum with emerging tech.
• Measure training outcomes and ROI to ensure continuous improvement.
