Job summary

Dubai-based leading international hospital is seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse to join its multidisciplinary clinical team. Western-trained nurses with advanced wound care expertise will support patients with complex wounds in a state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities include comprehensive wound assessments, advanced procedures (debridement, NPWT), documentation in EMR, and education of patients and families. BLS is required; ACLS is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• Active and valid nursing license in home country or country of current practice.
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in wound care, preferably in acute care or hospital setting.
• Certification in Wound Care (e.g., WOCN, CWCN) preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS advantageous.
• Preference for nurses trained and licensed in UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Perform advanced wound care procedures including debridement, dressing changes, NPWT, and pressure injury prevention.
• Monitor wound healing progress, document changes, and adjust treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals for holistic care.
• Educate patients and families on wound care, post-discharge care, and prevention strategies.
• Uphold infection prevention protocols and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EMR.
• Act as resource and mentor to other nursing staff in wound care best practices.
