Job summary

GMG is seeking an experienced Accountant - Accounts Receivable to ensure accurate invoicing, timely collections, and clean cash flow in our Dubai office. You will process receipts in SAP, reconcile payments, and support month-end close with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years' AR or accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented mindset to maintain precise customer records and respond efficiently to billing inquiries.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting roles.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills required.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy required.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Process, verify, and post customer receipts in SAP.
• Reconcile payments against invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain records of AR transactions and customer accounts.
• Engage with customers to resolve billing issues.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service on billing queries.
• Reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledger and resolve variances.
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare journal vouchers, debit notes, credit notes and batches for receivable transactions.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
