Job summary

Millennium Hotels and Resorts in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP team and ensure accurate processing of supplier invoices, timely payments, and strong vendor Relationships. The role requires oversight of disbursement methods and adherence to company policies.

The ideal candidate will drive process improvements, generate AP reports, and mentor staff while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and safety procedures in a hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable management and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the accounts payable team and provide guidance and support.
• Oversee supplier invoice processing for accuracy and payment terms compliance.
• Coordinate payment disbursements by check, electronic and wire transfer.
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Conduct periodic vendor reconciliations and maintain accurate AP records.
• Generate AP performance, aging and payment schedule reports.
• Analyze AP data to identify trends and cost savings opportunities.
• Provide regular updates to the head of finance.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members.
