Job summary

Jizan Perfumes LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Finance Manager to lead day-to-day accounting and financial operations. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will oversee AP/AR, GL, closings, and cash flow management, while providing management accounting and financial analysis.

You will coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance, including VAT and CT, and work with auditors, banks, and internal teams to optimize working capital and inventory costing.

Qualifications

• Extensive UAE tax compliance knowledge (VAT, CT).
• Experience with IFRS/IAS reporting and consolidation.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and working capital management.
• Proven ability to establish internal controls and risk management.
• Experience coordinating with external auditors and banks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations for the company.
• Ensure accurate recording of AP, AR, GL, and bank transactions per standards.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Monitor accounts payable/receivable, credit control, and collections.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Provide financial analysis to MD and compare with budgets/forecasts.
• Coordinate annual budgets and periodic forecasts; manage cash flow.
• Ensure UAE statutory, financial, and regulatory compliance (VAT, CT); liaise with auditors and tax consultants.
• Oversee inventory costing, landed cost, and international trade accounting.
• Establish and monitor internal controls; identify financial risks and inefficiencies.
• Oversee banking activities, reconciliations, and KYC/documentation with banks.

Reporting to the Managing Director.

Team Size (Accounts Team): 20-25 people

1.Accounting & Financial Management

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting and finance operations of the Company.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Monitor and manage the Company's accounts payable, receivable, credit control, and collection activities.

2.Financial Reporting & Management Accounting

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial statements, and periodic financial reports.
• Provide financial analysis and management reports to the Managing Director.
• Monitor actual financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and previous periods.

3.Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow Management

• Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
• Manage working capital, including receivables, payables, and inventory investments.
• Monitor banking facilities, loans, guarantees, and other financial arrangements.
• Identify opportunities to improve cash flow, reduce costs, and optimize working capital.

4.Taxation, Compliance & Regulatory Requirements

• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE statutory, financial, and regulatory requirements (e.g., VAT, CT).
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Oversee KYC documentation and compliance requirements with banks and financial institutions.

5.Inventory, Costing & International Trade Accounting

• Oversee inventory accounting, stock valuation and measurement, and reconciliation with physical inventory records.
• Monitor inventory movements, stock adjustments, provisions, and obsolete or slow-moving inventory.

6.Internal Controls, Audit & Risk Management

• Establish, implement, and monitor effective internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
• Identify financial risks, control weaknesses, and potential areas of operational inefficiency.
• Review financial processes to minimize errors, irregularities, and potential financial losses.

7.Banking & Financial Operations

• Oversee bank reconciliations, payment processing, fund transfers, and banking documentation.
• Monitor banking facilities, foreign currency transactions, and related charges.
• Maintain effective coordination with banks on KYC updates, compliance documentation, and account-related matters.
