Job summary

SKLD Manpower Services seeks an experienced Finance & Accounts leader to oversee daily operations, budgeting, and regulatory compliance in Abu Dhabi. You will manage cash flow, payroll, audits, and ERP systems, while guiding a finance team to ensure accurate reporting.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience, a relevant Bachelor's degree, and a professional qualification such as CA/ACCA/CPA/CMA. UAE experience is strongly preferred and familiarity with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
• CA/ACCA/CPA/CMA or equivalent preferred.
• 7–10 years of finance & accounting experience, with 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and applicable regulations.
• Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and internal auditing.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Odoo/SAP/Oracle).
• Prior UAE experience preferred.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management & Reporting: Oversee daily financial and accounting operations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Monitor financial performance, profitability, expenses, and cost control. Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records and timely closing of accounts. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
• Budgeting & Financial Planning: Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and business plans. Monitor actual expenditure against approved budgets. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and financial improvement. Support management in strategic planning and business expansion.
• Cash Flow & Banking: Manage company cash flow, working capital, and financial liquidity. Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and outstanding collections. Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions. Oversee banking transactions, reconciliations, and payment approvals.
• UAE Taxation & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and applicable Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations. Oversee tax return preparation, submissions, and related documentation. Ensure compliance with applicable UAE accounting, financial, and labour-related requirements. Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Payroll & Financial Administration: Supervise monthly payroll processing and salary payments through the UAE Wage Protection System (WPS), where applicable. Ensure accurate accounting of employee benefits, gratuity, leave salary, and other employment-related financial obligations. Monitor payroll expenses and employee-related financial provisions. Coordinate with HR and Operations departments on payroll and staffing costs.
• Financial Controls & Audit: Develop and implement effective financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Coordinate annual financial audits and ensure timely completion. Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate control measures. Ensure compliance with company policies and approved financial procedures.
• Commercial & Contract Management: Review commercial proposals, service contracts, and pricing structures. Analyze project costs, manpower costs, profitability, and financial risks. Support management in contract negotiations and financial evaluations. Monitor client invoicing, payment collections, and contract-related financial obligations.
• Team Management & ERP Systems: Lead and supervise the Finance and Accounts team. Ensure effective utilization of accounting software and ERP systems. Oversee financial process improvements and automation. Coordinate with other departments to maintain accurate financial data.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including at least 3-5 years in a managerial position.
