Qualifications

• 3 years accounting experience, including front desk responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting procedures.
• Experience with FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
• Experience with general journal entries.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• BSc in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or CMA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle all accounting transactions.
• Prepare budget projections.
• Publish financial statements on time.
• Close monthly, quarterly, and yearly books.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely bank payments.
• Compute taxes and prepare income tax returns.
• Prepare balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Report on financial health and liquidity.
• Audit financial deals and records.
• Maintain data confidentiality and backups.
• Follow financial policies and procedures.
• Perform day-to-day office and clerical tasks.
