Job summary

Redford Recruiters seeks an Accountant cum Receptionist in Abu Dhabi to manage daily accounting tasks and provide front-desk support. The role includes handling invoices, reconciliations, VAT documentation, and general office administration.

You will interact with visitors, clients, and staff, maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring confidentiality. This is a hands-on position combining accounting with receptionist duties in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other accounting documents.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Record expenses, purchases, sales, and other transactions in the accounting system.
• Perform bank, cash, supplier, and customer account reconciliations.
• Maintain petty cash records and supporting documentation.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on payments when required.
• Assist with monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Maintain properly organized accounting files and supporting documents.
• Assist with UAE VAT documentation, record-keeping, and related accounting requirements.
• Coordinate with management, auditors, banks, suppliers, and customers regarding financial documentation as required.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of company financial information.
• Manage the reception area and provide a professional first point of contact for visitors and clients.
• Answer, screen, and redirect incoming telephone calls.
• Respond to general emails and enquiries or forward them to the appropriate person.
• Welcome visitors and assist them with their enquiries.
• Schedule appointments and maintain calendars when required.
