Job summary

SSC Egypt is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our UAE team. The role covers the full accounting cycle with emphasis on IFRS and VAT compliance in a manufacturing/trading environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance/Commerce with 2–3 years UAE experience, and proficiency in Zoho Books and SAP. English and Hindi/Urdu communication are valued, along with keen attention to detail and deadline discipline.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years accounting experience in UAE manufacturing or trading.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Professional certification (CMA, ACCA, Semi-qualified CA) is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting cycle: AP, AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries and month-end closing.
• Prepare UAE VAT returns and maintain tax-compliant records.
• Inventory and cost accounting for manufacturing setup.
• Prepare supporting schedules for auditors and bank queries

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team. 1 position is open.

Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a UAE manufacturing or trading company.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
• Professional certification (CMA, ACCA, Semi-qualified CA) is an advantage

Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS
• Full accounting cycle: AP, AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries and month-end closing
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT, including preparing VAT returns and maintaining tax-compliant records
• Inventory and cost accounting (raw material, WIP and finished goods), preferred for a manufacturing set-up
• Proficiency in Zoho Books, SAP and MS Excel
• Ability to prepare supporting schedules for auditors and bank queries
• Good communication in English and Hindi/Urdu
• Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision

Salary

Salary: AED 3,000 - 4,000 per month.
