Job summary

Astra Source in Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting tasks and maintain precise financial records. The role requires hands-on experience with Zoho Books and other ERP/accounting solutions, plus strong MS Excel skills.

The successful candidate will manage AP/AR, prepare invoices and vouchers, perform reconciliations, assist with monthly reporting, and support the senior finance team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• B.Com / Bachelors Degree in Commerce or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting operations.
• Proven practical experience working with Zoho Books.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience using ERP/accounting software and ability to adapt to different systems.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, AP/AR, invoicing, and general accounting.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Handling tasks independently and meeting deadlines.
• UAE/GCC accounting experience is an advantage.
• India Driving licence is an advantage.
• English, Malayalam / Tamil language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist with audit requirements and provide necessary financial documentation.
• Ensure accounting transactions are recorded accurately and on time. Work efficiently with Zoho Books and other ERP/accounting software
• Prepare and manage reports using MS Excel, including data analysis and reconciliations.
• Support the senior finance/accounting team with routine accounting activities
