Job summary

Amouage International FZ LLC is seeking an Accountant to support daily financial operations, including e-commerce reconciliation, banking, and VAT coordination. You will ensure accurate records, strong controls, and timely reporting across UAE entities.

You will collaborate with the Finance team and cross-functional partners to manage journal entries, asset management, and payment processing while upholding audit readiness and financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial operations.
• Experience with bank reconciliations, payments, and online processing.
• Familiarity with ERP and e-commerce platforms such as Shopify/PayPal/Checkout.
• Strong financial controls and supporting documentation requirements.

We are currently looking for an Accountant to support the day-to-day financial operations across e-commerce reconciliation, banking, accounts payable, VAT coordination, and financial record management. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial transactions across multiple platforms and business functions.

Your Mission

Working closely with the Finance team and cross-functional stakeholders, this role will be responsible for managing banking activities, accounts payable processes, and financial record management across the House.

Acting as a key operational support within Finance, the role ensures accurate transaction processing, strong financial controls, and timely coordination across systems, suppliers, and internal teams.

Your Impact

• Manage & responsible for fixed asset acquisitions, disposals, deletions, and acquisition adjustments in accordance with company policy and accounting standards.
• Manage journal vouchers and documentation for fixed assets across all entities.
• Assist in preparing and posting month-end journal entries for All UAE Entities
• Coordinate with the Sales team to ensure accurate reallocation and removal of fixed assets as required.
• Upon confirmation from Sales team, manage the transfer of assets from CWIP to Fixed Asset register upon project completion and readiness for use.
• Process and reconcile PayPal and Checkout.com internet receipts and settlements on a regular basis.
• Coordinate with the customer for monthly recharge transactions and monitor payment collections.

Prepare monthly reports including:

• Bank reconciliations
• Deposit reconciliations
• Budget closure summaries
• Employee-wise cost reports
• Customer Payment summaries
• Post Etisalat telephone and internet-related journal vouchers.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support the Accounts Manager during statutory audits by preparing required schedules and reports.
• Manage payroll postings in the system for all entities based on payroll data provided by the Accounts Manager
• Manage and monitor monthly document storage by visiting relevant location to ensure proper handling and organization of records.
• Collect and process documents from banks, post boxes, and other locations as required.
• Supporting IT and development team for finance department related automation.
• Vendor master update for payment automation
• Fixed asset schedule preparation Etc.
• Visit the warehouse and stores to conduct stock count during year-end for Audit.

Your Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of experience in Accounting, Accounts Payable, or financial operations
• Experience managing bank reconciliations, payment gateways, and online transaction processing
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems and e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, PayPal, or Checkout is preferred
• Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, and supporting documentation requirements
• Experience supporting VAT filings, audits, or regulatory compliance activities is an advantage
• High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
