Job summary

Ravetllat Aromatics in Dubai is seeking an Accountant to join our Middle East subsidiary. The role manages day-to-day accounting operations, ensures accurate records, and complies with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include journal entries, bank reconciliations, VAT and Corporate Tax support, and coordination with HQ. The position offers a permanent role with salary based on experience and opportunities in a growing, state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, IFRS and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Record and post all accounting transactions, journal entries, and maintain accurate general ledgers.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage cheque, cash deposits, and other banking activities.
• Monitor and record customer payments, prepare Statements of Account (SOA), and follow up on aging balances.
• Support VAT and Corporate Tax preparation, filing, and compliance.
• Coordinate with Finance & Accounting HQ and provide required financial reports and accounting information.
• Register and implement e-invoicing requirements and ensure proper invoicing records.
• Ensure complete, accurate, and properly supported accounting records.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
• Support month-end/year-end closing, audits, and other general accounting activities as required by management.

Job Purpose:

The Accountant is responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

What profile are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification is an advantage
• Relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience, preferably in the UAE
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, IFRS and accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
• Good communication and coordination skills with HQ, management, customers, banks, and external advisors.
