Job summary

NADIA Global in Dubai seeks a detail-oriented General Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, property accounting, and financial reporting for its real estate portfolio. You will handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and ensure accurate ledgers in line with UAE regulations.

The role collaborates with property management teams, supports VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, prepares management reports, and assists audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate/property management.
• Work schedule: 5 days per week onsite; Work From Home: Sundays.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, UAE VAT regs, and Corporate Tax requirements.
• Experience in property accounting, tenant accounting, and lease administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, journal entries, and GL activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management functions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Record and monitor rental income, service charges, deposits, and property-related expenses.
• Manage tenant ledgers, invoicing, receipt allocation, and payment follow-ups.
• Reconcile lease agreements, tenancy contracts, and property statements.
• Coordinate with property management teams regarding financial and operational matters.
• Prepare property-wise income and expense reports and profitability analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecast financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, prepare VAT returns, and maintain VAT records.
• Support UAE Corporate Tax compliance, including tax calculations and reporting.
• Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and financial reviews.
• Prepare management reports, MIS reports, and other financial analyses.
• Maintain proper documentation for regulatory compliance and management review.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and UAE laws.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, UAE VAT regulations, and Corporate Tax requirements.
• Experience in property accounting, tenant accounting, and lease administration.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including reporting and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
