Job summary

Cigna in Dubai, UAE is seeking an experienced Client Relationship Manager to oversee a portfolio of international health insurance clients. You will advance strategic plans, renewal negotiations, and cross-sell opportunities while coordinating with underwriting, services and marketing to ensure exceptional client outcomes.

The ideal candidate has five years of health insurance client management experience, strong English communication, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of client management experience in health insurance.
• Experience with insurers or policies in African markets.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing or Business.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with existing clients and intermediaries, ensuring client needs are addressed.
• Develop and deliver strategic client plans, renewal proposals, and product recommendations.
• Partner with Underwriting and other functions to develop renewal terms and proposals while protecting profitability.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities within the client portfolio and present relevant proposals.
• Collaborate with Customer Services, Healthcare Services, Legal Services and Marketing to address service issues and deliver client materials.
• Manage contractual commitments, invoicing, deliverables quality, forecasts, references, testimonials and internal policies.
• Support product development and renewal implementation by sharing client and market insights.

• Build strong relationships with existing clients and intermediaries ensuring client needs are addressed and Cigna is represented professionally


• Develop and deliver strategic client plans reports renewal proposals and product recommendations that support retention and profitability


• Partner with Underwriting and other functions to develop attractive renewal terms and product proposals while protecting business profitability


• Identify cross-selling opportunities within the existing client portfolio and present relevant proposals to clients and intermediaries


• Collaborate with Customer Services Healthcare Services Legal Services and Marketing to address service issues and deliver high-quality client materials


• Manage contractual commitments invoicing deliverable quality forecasts references testimonials internal policies and timely management information


• Support product development and renewal implementation by sharing client and market insights and ensuring schemes are appropriately reinstalled at renewal

A minimum of five years of client management experience within health insurance, preferably gained within an international company. Experience working with insurers or insurance policies in African markets. Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely. Ability to independently manage a portfolio of clients and multiple simultaneous priorities. Ability to define and resolve complex claims-related and client issues and recommend appropriate reservations. Bachelor s degree, preferably in Marketing or Business. Ability to travel when required.
