Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking an Access Control Officer to join the Surveillance team. You will manage daily access control desk operations, verify identities, issue credentials, and maintain accurate records in Genetec and related security platforms.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1–3 years in security or facilities operations, and knowledge of Genetec, credential management, visitor management, and alarm monitoring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of security operations or access control experience.
• Training in Genetec, access control, credential management is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of cardholder profiles, access levels, groups, schedules, and temporary access.
• Ability to review access requests, identify missing approvals, and escalate when needed.
• Knowledge of ANPR, CCTV, alarms, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Access Control Operations and desk management.
• Manage daily access control desk operations, including approvals, encoding, updates, deactivation, and recordkeeping.
• Verify identity, approvals, authorization levels, and documentation before issuing access.
• Administer user profiles, access levels, schedules, readers, alarms, and events in Genetec.
• Monitor door status, alarms, access events, and system alerts; escalate issues promptly.
• Conduct initial system checks, door and alarm verifications, and tester activities.
• Review access logs and reports to support investigations and audits.
• Coordinate with Security, IT, Facilities, and contractors to resolve access issues.
• Maintain audit-ready records and clear shift handovers.
