Job summary

athGADLANG is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support our finance operations on a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Dubai Production City, Dubai. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures.

Key tasks include GL reconciliation, AP/AR processing, bank reconciliations, journal entries, budgeting, forecasting, and assisting with audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACCA qualification or part-qualified preferred.
• Experience in a corporate accounting environment.
• Knowledge of NetSuite ERP is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and financial reports.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Post journal entries and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Assist with audit preparation and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and applicable regulations.
• Prepare and maintain VAT-related records and supporting schedules.
• Utilize accounting software and ERP systems for daily finance operations.
