Job summary

Sofitel Dubai Downtown, a French luxury hotel, seeks a Guest Service Officer - Telecommunication to welcome guests and reflect the exceptional experience on arrival.

You will manage all hotel calls, provide friendly service, monitor room status, assist guests inside and outside the hotel, and stay aware of security procedures.

Flexibility with shifts, including nights, is required to meet daily operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality or Room Division.
• 2 to 5 years' experience, depending on education and career background.
• Languages: fluent in English and a 2nd language would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage all calls to the hotel as per the company's Brand Standards.
• Consistently offer exceptional, friendly, and engaging service.
• To be constantly aware of the room situation and to strive to obtain maximum occupancy.
• To attend to the hotel guests in all communication from inside and outside the hotel.
• To be aware of the hotel's security, fire, and safety procedures.
• To be flexible with shift rotations, including night shifts, as required by the operation.
