Job summary

Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk seeks a Telecommunications professional to deliver high-quality guest services by handling calls and internal communications in a luxury hotel setting.

The role requires English communication skills, teamwork, and a focus on guest satisfaction aligned with Sofitel standards. Minimum one year in a four- or five-star hotel is preferred; hotel-management education is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process all incoming and outgoing calls accurately and courteously.
• Ensure smooth internal telecommunication as per Sofitel Standards.
• Record and control wake-up calls accurately.
• Assist guests with international calls and directory queries.
• Call guests by name whenever possible.
• Page staff member when requested.
• Abide by principles of guest privacy.
• Handle guest requests promptly and report complaints to the Telephone Supervisor.
• Bill call costs.
• Maintain knowledge of the hotel’s fire, life and safety system.
