Job summary
A leading technology recruiter in Durban seeks an experienced software developer to maintain and enhance Flutter-based applications for Android, iOS, and web platforms. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic agile environment, developing new features and solutions. Strong experience in Flutter, Dart, UX/UI design, and development on Linux systems is required, along with knowledge of relational databases like MySQL. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative technology on various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance Flutter-based applications for various platforms.
- Develop new features and innovative software solutions.
- Collaborate in an agile environment while adhering to project plans.
- Work with Python 3 and QT5 graphical interfaces.
- Integrate applications with TCP Sockets and RESTful APIs.
Skills
Education
- Maintain and enhance Flutter-based applications for Android, iOS, and web platforms.
- Develop new features and innovative software solutions.
- Collaborate in a dynamic, agile environment while adhering to project plans and scopes.
- Work with Python 3 and QT5 graphical interfaces.
- Integrate applications with TCP Sockets and RESTful APIs.
- Degree, Diploma, or relevant IT certification.
- Strong experience with Flutter and Dart, including Bloc State Management.
- UX / UI experience and the ability to create engaging user experiences.
- Comfortable working on Linux systems (OpenSUSE or Ubuntu).
- Knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases.
- Experience in Android development (Java / Kotlin) and iOS development (Swift / Objective-C).
- Exposure to Windows, Linux, and Web Flutter development is a plus.
- Self-starter with the ability to make critical decisions independently.
