Job summary

A pharmaceutical distribution company based in Roodepoort seeks a Picker/Packer/Checker to ensure accurate assembly of customer orders. The ideal candidate should have attention to detail, planning skills, and good interpersonal abilities. Minimum requirements include a Grade 12 education and 1 year of experience in outbound operations within the pharmaceutical environment. This permanent position emphasizes teamwork and the correct handling of stock for optimal customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 1 year prior experience in the UPD outbound operations/pharmaceutical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that customer orders are correctly and accurately assembled.
  • Adhere to FEFO principles of stock rotation and maintain batch traceability.
  • Correct and report errors found to the supervisor.
  • Remove damaged stock and send to stock control.
  • Ensure correct packing materials and labels are used.
  • Pack excess stock away at the end of a shift.
  • Retain all pick slips for future reference.
