To provide a high level of service across various Insurance Product types through multiple communication channels to Standard Bank Customers, SBIB Provincial Offices, SBSA Branches, Underwriters, and Brokers by resolving insurance policy queries as part of the multi-skilling journey. Act as a subject matter expert on Insurance Products. Manage third-party and recovery claims with service providers. Achieve financial performance indicators.

Minimum Qualifications

• Matric
• Must be FAIS compliant
• Paralegal qualification; LLB is an advantage

Insurance:

• 5 years of Recovery, Liabilities, and Legal experience
• Coordinate and collate all supporting documentation on IMS for handover to the legal collection firm
• Analyze documentation to ensure information is current and complete
• Handle incoming correspondence, telephonic enquiries, paid-up letters, filing, and ad hoc queries from legal collection firms according to SLA
• Maintain registers (manual and electronic) for all collection matters, reflecting current case statuses
• Liaise with attorney firms to obtain necessary documentation supporting SIL’s claim from third parties
• Address daily queries by liaising with relevant departments and providers
• Escalate unresolved queries to management for timely decisions
• Maintain high ethical standards, meet timelines, and ensure data accuracy
• Manage all bank and departmental records and oversee the outsourcing process per SLAs
• Identify potential recovery and third-party claims and allocate to panel attorneys as appropriate
• Conduct regular performance audits on panel attorneys
• Ensure settlements within the agreed mandate and escalate deviations to management
