Job Description

• Partner with the business to provide financial expertise and advice, and develop processes that improve financial service delivery.

• The Financial Manager will collaborate with various departments to ensure effective financial management and reporting.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing, analyzing, and presenting financial reports to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinating with external auditors for accurate reporting.
• Providing advice on controls, risk management, and tax strategies.

Data Analysis & Insights

• Analyze large datasets to derive financial insights supporting strategic decisions.
• Create financial models for forecasting and opportunity assessment.

Coding & Automation

• Develop scripts to automate financial tasks like reconciliations and reporting.
• Create dashboards for real-time financial monitoring.
• Work with IT and data teams to ensure system accuracy and integration.

Business Partnering

• Collaborate with departments to align financial strategies with business goals.
• Communicate complex data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements using data and coding skills.
• Stay updated on industry trends and standards.

You will be an ideal candidate if you :

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in tech-driven or data-focused organizations.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS.
• Certifications in data analysis or programming (e.g., Python, SQL).

Accounting Expertise

• Fully qualified CA(SA) or equivalent.
• Knowledge of IFRS and regulatory reporting.
• Experience in auditing, tax compliance, and financial planning.

Data & Technical Skills

• Proficient in Excel, Power BI.
• Strong coding skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience with financial systems like SAP or Oracle.
• Familiar with data management and ETL processes.
