A law firm in Mbombela is looking for an Afrikaans Admitted Attorney specializing in litigation, corporate, and family law. The ideal candidate will have an LLB, admission to the High Court, and 2-3 years' experience. Key responsibilities include drafting court documents, managing cases, and advising clients. Qualifications
- LLB or equivalent law degree from a recognized South African university.
- Admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
- 2–3 years post-admission experience, preferably in litigation, commercial, corporate, and family law.
Responsabilités
- Draft and review pleadings, affidavits, notices, and other court documents.
- Prepare and manage case files for hearings and trials.
- Represent clients in court, including motion proceedings, trials, and urgent applications.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, and memoranda of understanding.
- Draft and manage agreements, including antenuptial contracts, settlement agreements, and divorce documentation.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions.

- Represent clients in family law matters such as divorces, maintenance disputes, and custody issues.
- Provide strategic advice on family-related legal matters.
General Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and matter records.
- Attend client meetings, hearings, and negotiations as required.
- Assist senior attorneys with complex cases and matters.
- Keep abreast of legal developments in relevant areas of law.
