Job summary
A growing company in renewable energy is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to shape financial strategies and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and guide the executive team. 10+ years in senior finance roles and a Bachelor’s degree are essential. Salary range is R100,000 - R120,000 CTC per month, depending on experience.

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a growing company in the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the organisation’s long-term financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Manage capital structures, investments, and funding strategies.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead financial risk management, internal controls, and audit processes.
- Provide strategic guidance to the executive team and support decision-making with financial insights.
- Mentor and manage the finance team to achieve high performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CA(SA) or MBA advantageous).
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in senior finance leadership roles (CFO, Senior Investment Officer, or similar).
- Proven expertise in financial planning, risk management, and capital structuring.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance and compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Industry experience in solar/EPC/renewable energy is advantageous but not essential.
Salary: R100,000 – R120,000 CTC per month (depending on experience)
