An exciting position has arisen within the Foschini Division for a Pattern Designer. This individual will be responsible for designing ranges and working alongside a Design and Production team to ensure land of range in store. We are looking for a responsible, organised individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where the customer is the central focus of everything we do. The role involves guiding all steps of the pattern design process, from initial conception to final manufacturing across all commodities. A strong grasp of trend direction, fabrications, product relevance, and branding is essential.

1. Create patterns on computer using Lectra and available references.
2. Liaise with Designer on requirements.
3. Communicate with Sample Room on requirements.
4. Measure garments.
5. Perform grading.
6. Attend fit sessions with Designer.
7. Liaise with retail technologist.
8. Handle queries from factories.

1. Tertiary qualification in Fashion Design/Pattern Design or equivalent.
2. Proven competency in pattern making (3-5 years).
3. Experience with the Lectra Windows system is advantageous.
