Job summary

Crew Life at Sea Ltd. seeks a Youth Staff Counselor to join our onboard youth program, promoting the pillars of Art, Culinary, Recreation, and STEM.

You will run day-to-day activities for children aged 3, including toddler time, family programming, babysitting, and holiday activations, while upholding Celebrity Cruises SOPs and USPH guidelines. Under the Youth Program Manager, you will ensure safety and engagement, coordinate activities, and support marketing and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Education, Recreation, or related field (or international equivalent)
• 35 years of experience managing youth activities (ages 3)
• Experience in youth groups, camps, or similar positions
• Strong communication and customer service skills; ability to engage groups
• CPR and lifesaving certification for infants/children preferred
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and internet

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and age-appropriate youth programs while maintaining safety and security
• Assist onboarding procedures and ensure children's safety during muster and emergency drills
• Supervise and support children with eating, resting, toileting, and personal habits
• Maintain high visibility to observe operations and ensure safety compliance
• Prepare activities and supplies efficiently while adhering to cleanliness and safety standards
• Support marketing efforts to maximize participation in youth programs
• Assist with reports, letters, and point-of-sale functions as required
• Attend training, meetings, and other work-related activities as required
• Serve as a positive role model, promoting leadership, friendliness, fairness, and open-mindedness
