Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of youth experience in camp, school, or recreational settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging activities for youth aged 3-17, including games, sports, arts and crafts, and educational programs.
• Supervise and monitor youth activities ensuring safety and well-being.
• Build positive relationships with youth and families and provide guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with youth counselors and crew members to plan ship-wide events.
• Maintain accurate records of youth participation and behavior; report concerns.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and company policies.
• Attend mandatory training sessions to stay updated on procedures.
• Assist with organization and setup of youth program areas and supplies.
• Serve as a positive role model and promote constructive behavior.
• Keep youth spaces clean and hygienic in line with guidelines.
