Qualifications

• Proven expertise in youth development programs and understanding of adolescent psychology.
• Exceptional leadership, management, and team-building skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience in program evaluation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and grant writing.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
• Familiarity with the needs and challenges of youth in George, Western Cape.
• Commitment to social justice and community empowerment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning and development of new youth empowerment programs.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of existing programs, ensuring quality and effectiveness.
• Manage program budgets, resources, and staff effectively.
• Develop and implement program evaluation frameworks to measure impact and identify areas for improvement.
• Cultivate and maintain partnerships with schools, community centers, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with funding requirements and reporting standards.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to program staff and volunteers.
• Identify funding opportunities and contribute to grant writing efforts.
• Represent the organization at relevant community meetings and conferences.
• Champion the organization's mission and values within the George, Western Cape community.
