Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Youth Program Coordinator in Mahikeng to design, implement, and oversee engaging programs for youth aged 12-18. The role combines community-based activities with administrative duties to ensure wide reach and effective delivery.

You will partner with schools and community groups, recruit and train staff, and monitor program outcomes. A hybrid work model and opportunities for professional development are offered to support impact-driven youth work.

Qualifications

• Experience in youth work, education, social work, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of youth development principles and challenges.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and leadership skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with young people from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with the NorthWest region and its youth services network is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage engaging programs for youth aged 12-18.
• Recruit, train, and supervise youth program staff and volunteers.
