Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Youth Program Facilitator in Benoni to design and deliver engaging programs that build life skills and personal development for young people. The role combines in-person and online sessions within a hybrid work model to reach diverse participants.

You will plan and run workshops, provide mentorship, collaborate with schools and community partners, and help assess outcomes to continuously improve youth engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth in a program facilitation or educational setting.
• Strong understanding of youth development principles and engagement strategies.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create and manage engaging activities, both in-person and online.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young people.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate engaging workshops and activities for youth aged (specify age range).
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum focused on life skills, leadership, and personal development.
• Provide mentorship and support to young participants, fostering a safe and inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with community partners, schools, and parents to ensure program reach and effectiveness.
• Organize and supervise youth events, outings, and community service projects.
• Assess program outcomes and gather feedback to continuously improve youth engagement strategies.
