Placements24 is seeking a dynamic After-School Program Coordinator to lead enrichment programs in Queenstown. You will develop, implement, and oversee a safe, engaging after-school experience for school-aged children, planning daily activities, managing staff, and coordinating with parents.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for youth development, program management, and creating high-quality educational experiences within a community setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in youth program coordination, childcare, or education.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to develop engaging program content and manage a team effectively.
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices for school-aged children.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations.
• First Aid and CPR certification is required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a diverse schedule of age-appropriate activities, including educational, recreational, and creative pursuits.
• Supervise and mentor program staff, providing guidance and support.
• Manage daily program operations, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and structured environment.
• Liaise with parents to communicate program details, progress, and address concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, activities, and expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and organizational policies.
