Placements24 in Queenstown, South Africa seeks a hands-on Wireless Network Technician to install, configure and maintain our wireless infrastructure. You will manage Wi-Fi networks, cellular backhaul, and related equipment in the field to ensure reliable high-performance connectivity for operations and clients.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience, a solid understanding of 802.11 standards, RF concepts and security protocols. CWNA is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CWNA certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in wireless network installation and support.
• Familiar with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax standards.
• Knowledge of WPA2/WPA3 wireless security protocols.
• Ability to work in the field and manage time independently.

About the Role
