Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Wireless Network Specialist to join our client’s technical team in Port Elizabeth. You will design, deploy, and optimize wireless infrastructure, including cellular and Wi‑Fi, ensuring reliability, security, and performance across enterprise and consumer applications.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in IT or related field and at least five years of hands-on wireless experience, with strong RF knowledge and CCNA Wireless/CWNP valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in wireless network design, implementation, and support.
• Strong understanding of RF principles, wireless protocols, and network security.
• Experience with wireless network management and monitoring tools.
• Relevant certifications such as CWNP, CCNA Wireless, or equivalent are highly valued.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced telecoms setting.
