Job summary

Windmeul Cellar, located on the northern slopes of Paarl Mountain in the Winelands, is renowned for creating wines of distinction. The incumbent will join Windmeul's dynamic production team as Winemaker to lead winemaking operations and maintain quality standards.

The role requires a degree/diploma in Viticulture and Oenology, 2-5 years in the wine industry, strong tasting skills, and fluency in Afrikaans and English. Paarl base with full-time on-site work.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Viticulture and Oenology (degree/diploma).
• 2-5 years' proven experience in the wine industry.
• Mechanical/technical knowledge of winemaking machinery and equipment.
• Well-developed wine tasting skills.
• Good computer skills (Wine MS).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Afrikaans and English).
• Detail oriented; able to perform in team and independently.
• Valid driver's licence.
