Placements24 in Stellenbosch is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee development projects in the Winelands, coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors and stakeholders in a hybrid work setup.

You will manage full lifecycle from inception to handover for commercial, residential, and hospitality schemes, ensuring delivery within scope, budget and timeline, with a focus on quality and regional growth.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in project management within property development or construction.
• Experience managing diverse development projects end-to-end.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations, zoning laws, and EIA in the Western Cape.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of development projects, including planning, design, construction and handover.
• Develop and maintain accurate project plans, budgets and schedules, ensuring milestones are met.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including consultants, contractors and internal departments.
• Oversee procurement processes, contract administration and vendor management for all services and materials.
• Ensure compliance with local zoning laws, building regulations and environmental standards in the Stellenbosch area.
• Regularly report on project progress, risks, and financial status to senior management and stakeholders.
