Placements24 is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician to join our client’s team near Kimberley in the Northern Cape. You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on wind turbines, ensuring optimal performance and safety while working at heights.

The role requires mechanical/electrical aptitude, a technical qualification, and the ability to read schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and a valid driver's license are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or a related trade.
• Experience as a wind turbine technician or in heavy machinery maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with ability to read schematics.
• Willingness to work at heights and in outdoor conditions.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

This role involves working at heights and in various weather conditions, maintaining complex mechanical and electrical systems. • Valid driver's license and ability to commute to sites near Kimberley .
