Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney or Master’s Degree in Law with a specialization in Wills and Estates.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in drafting wills and administering deceased estates.
• Thorough knowledge of the Administration of Estates Act, the Wills Act, and Trust Property Control Act.
• Understanding of estate planning principles and tax implications.
• Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Consult with clients to understand asset portfolios, family structures, and wishes for estate distribution.
• Draft clear, legally sound wills tailored to individual client needs.
• Administer deceased estates, including reporting to the Master of the High Court, lodging liquidation and distribution accounts, and distributing assets.
• Advise clients on estate duty, capital gains tax implications, and trust law.
• Establish and manage trusts, ensuring compliance with trust deeds and relevant legislation.
• Provide guidance on executorship, inheritance, and fiduciary responsibilities.
