Job summary

Ingrain is seeking a Process Controller to monitor and optimize the Wet Mill operations, ensuring production targets, quality and efficiency are met. The role involves addressing deviations, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with engineers and management on operational improvements.

You'll ensure safe plant operation, maintain housekeeping and sanitation, and support ISO and quality initiatives. Strong teamwork across Operations, Engineering, and Inventory teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Monitor and control the Wet Mill process to achieve production volume, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Continuously monitor plant performance and take corrective actions to address process deviations.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues that impact production, quality, or equipment performance.
• Ensure optimal operating conditions and process parameters are maintained.
• Liaise with Process Engineers and Production Management regarding operational challenges and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure safe plant operation and adherence to SHEQ requirements.
• Issue work permits and isolate equipment for maintenance activities involving artisans and contractors.
• Maintain housekeeping and sanitation standards within the plant.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and food safety requirements.
• Participate in ISO and quality management system activities.
• Assist in customer complaint investigations and process improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate shift activities and allocate work to Field Operators and Product Handlers.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and training to learner Process Controllers and Field Operators.
• Facilitate effective shift handovers and communication between teams.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Inventory Management, SHEQ, and Shift Analysts.
• Capture, analyze, and report production and process performance data.
• Compile daily and weekly production reports.
• Maintain accurate operational records and event logs.
• Monitor production performance against schedules and targets.
