Tiger Brands is seeking a Shift Miller for our grain milling facility. The role oversees the milling process on shift, ensuring product quality and adherence to specifications while coordinating with maintenance and quality teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in milling of wheat/maize, proven leadership, and strong knowledge of GMP/food safety. This on-site role supports production targets and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Qualified Wheat and/or Maize miller per SAGMA/GMF trade
• Strong leadership and team supervision
• Knowledge of fumigation on grain insects and management

Mansioni

• Oversee milling operations on shift to meet production targets
• Maintain continuous equipment availability and minimize downtime
• Control inventory levels for finished products, consumables and additives
• Ensure adherence to policies, safety, and quality systems
• Drive cost efficiency, waste reduction, and continuous improvement
• Lead training, staff development, and teamwork on the plant floor
• Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety and regulatory requirements
• Maintain high morale and effective communication within the team
