Job summary

Wellness Warehouse in Langebaan is seeking a Sales Assistant to greet customers, identify needs and provide friendly, helpful service at the till and on the floor.

You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, staying informed about new lines and promotions, following merchandising standards, checking stock and expiry dates, and handling cash with accuracy.

The role offers ongoing training, benefits, and weekend/extended hours availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Wellness Warehouse experience as a Sales Assistant.
• Applicable Wellness Academy Foundation Training & Specialization Training.
• Fully computer literate.
• Perfect written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours.
• Competency Assessment Achieved.
• Remuneration based on a ‘cost to company’ model and performance incentives.

Responsibilities

• Approach all customers, greet, smile and offer assistance.
• Identify customer needs to provide optimal experience.
• Take responsibility for serving the customer and finding solutions to queries.
• Meet customer needs by asking, listening to and advising on options/services/products available.
• Offer alternatives if merchandise is not available.
• Achieve sales and unit targets.
• Know new lines and promotions in the store.
• Follow opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure merchandising principles and ticketing are in place.
• Ensure accurate stock counts and check product expiry dates.
• Assist at point of sale and with cash-ups.
