Job summary

Wellness Warehouse in Boksburg is seeking a Sales Assistant to greet customers, identify needs and assist across the store. You will contribute to meeting sales targets while upholding merchandising standards and stock accuracy.

The role requires weekend/evening availability, cash handling at points of sale, and active participation in Wellness Academy training plus CSI initiatives within the business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Wellness Warehouse experience as a Sales Assistant.
• Applicable Wellness Academy Foundation Training & Specialization Training.
• Fully computerliterate.
• Perfect written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours.
• Competency Assessment Achieved.
• Remuneration based on a ‘cost to company’ model and performance incentives.

Responsibilities

• Approach all customers, greet, smile and offer assistance.
• Identify customer needs in order to provide optimal experience.
• Takes responsibility for serving the customer and finding solutions to customers’ queries.
• Meet customers needs and expectations by asking, listening to and advising customers as to options/services/products available.
• Offers alternatives to the customer if merchandise is not available.
• Achievement of sales and unit targets.
• Knows what new lines and promotions have come into the store.
• Opening & closing procedures are followed.
• To ensure all merchandising principles are in place at all times and that every item is ticketed.
• Ensure accurate stock counts & checking of product expiry dates.
• Cash handling - assist at point of sale and with cash ups.
