Placements24 is seeking a diligent Well Integrity Engineer to join their asset management team in East London, SA. This role focuses on ensuring long-term integrity, safety, and reliability of production wells throughout their lifecycle, developing management systems, and overseeing inspection and maintenance programs.

You will collaborate with production and drilling engineers to address integrity issues, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in well integrity engineering or closely related discipline within oil & gas.
• Strong understanding of well construction, completion, and intervention technologies.
• Proficiency in well integrity software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

About the Role

Our client seeks a diligent Well Integrity Engineer to join their asset management team in East London. This critical role focuses on ensuring the long-term integrity, safety, and reliability of production wells throughout their lifecycle. You will develop and implement well integrity management systems, conduct risk assessments, and oversee inspection and maintenance programs. This position is vital for maintaining operational safety and environmental compliance within our client's South African oil & gas assets, based strategically in East London.
