Job summary

Entyce Beverages’ NBL Coffee and Creamer in Isando, Kempton Park, seeks a skilled Welder to ensure finished goods leaving the factory are of the highest quality and food safe. The role involves welding stainless steel components and contributing to maintenance projects in a fast-paced FMCG setting.

With 5+ years in stainless welding, you will read technical drawings, adhere to safety standards, and support continuous improvement across the engineering function.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years’ stainless-steel welding and fabrication experience (preferably in a food manufacturing environment).
• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Relevant Welding Trade Test is essential.
• Good knowledge of fabrication and welding techniques (Tig and Arc).
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication of components and structures to support plant maintenance and improvement initiatives.
• Welding of stainless steel and aluminium components in accordance with required standards.
• Conducting general welding repairs on plant equipment and infrastructure.
• Assisting with preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety, quality, and food safety standards.
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition.

What It Takes To Succeed

Experience that set you up for success:

• 5 or more years’ stainless-steel welding and fabrication experience (preferably in a food manufacturing environment)
