FNB Stockbroking and Portfolio Management (Pty) Ltd is seeking a business development professional within the Wealth and Investments team in George. You will work under supervision to manage investments for clients in line with agreed mandates and contribute to growth by acquiring new clients and expanding assets under management.

The role emphasizes building strong relationships, delivering exceptional service, and achieving sales targets through collaborative work across FRG and FNB networks.

Qualifications

• Relevant investment, finance or wealth management qualification.
• Compliance with FAIS requirements.
• Previous sales and business development experience within wealth management, investments, stockbroking or financial services.
• Proven track record of acquiring new clients, growing assets under management and achieving sales targets.
• Experience identifying and executing cross‑selling opportunities within an existing client base.
• Strong relationship management and networking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to uncover investment-related insights.
• Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships within FNB and across the FRG.
• Continuously assess own performance, seek timely feedback and request training where appropriate.
• Provide optimal services and improve service delivery processes to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Proactively acquire new clients through networking, referrals, business development initiatives and relationship-building activities.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients to support sustainable business growth.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities within an existing client base and leverage the broader Wealth and Investments value proposition to deepen client relationships.
• Consistently deliver against agreed sales, revenue and asset growth targets.
