Nedbank Private Wealth seeks a detail-driven Paraplanner to join our Cape Town and Durban offices, supporting Wealth Managers in servicing existing and potential clients.

The role involves portfolio reviews, preparing records of advice, financial projections, and deep knowledge of investment and tax solutions for high-net-worth clients. Strong Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce/Finance/Investments/Economics required.
• 3 years' Private Banking/Investment House and Para-Planning experience.
• Detail oriented, structured with strong follow-through.
• Ability to translate client needs into clear advice.

Responsibilities

• Perform portfolio reviews, prepare records of advice/review.
• Prepare financial projections where required.
• Understanding of investment and financial planning strategies for high-net-worth, Juristic and individual clients.
• An understanding of the different financial solutions available in the marketplace, including the specialisms in investment, insurance, pension and tax.
• Understanding of investment and financial planning strategies for high-net-worth clients.
• Ability to identify, meet and follow through with client needs and requirements.
• Professional, ethical and discreet, acting always in the best interests of clients.
• Effective time and caseload management with a flexible approach to business hours.
• Organized, with a strong attention to detail, able to perform multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong financial and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
