Job summary

The Recruitment Council in Pretoria is seeking a professional Paraplanner to join a well-established financial advisory team. You will prepare written Records of Advice and perform technical calculations for Wealth Managers and Advisors.

Responsibilities include conducting technical analyses, preparing fund comparisons and planning reports, coordinating paraplanning work, and supporting client meetings while ensuring data integrity across the planning process.

Qualifications

• Strong MS Word and Excel skills with advanced level recommended.
• Experience with financial planning modelling software such as Elite or Dynamics is advantageous.
• Knowledge of FAIS and FICA compliance requirements is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare written Records of Advice and perform technical calculations for Wealth Managers and Advisors.
• Conduct analyses for planning, including fund comparisons, fees, CGT, penalties and product benefits.
• Coordinate paraplanning work requests through hub processes and procedures.
• Support Wealth Managers and Advisors at client meetings and prepare review reports with Sales Support.
• Capture and update client data, ensuring accurate implementation of plans.
• Identify information gaps and gather missing details for work requests.
• Support development of paraplanning policies and participate in projects.
• Uphold practice standards through annual reviews, segmentation and differentiated servicing.
