Job summary

A leading water treatment company in Bethal, Mpumalanga seeks a Plant Manager to oversee operational systems and client satisfaction at the Elders Water Treatment Plant. Candidates must have a BSc Chemical Engineering or equivalent, with at least 3 years of experience managing water treatment plants. Responsibilities include managing teams, ensuring compliance with KPIs, and driving continuous improvement. Strong communication, ethical leadership, and technical skills in water treatment processes are essential. Only South African citizens will be considered.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing and operating advanced water treatment plants.
  • Experience with softening, ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis required.
  • Proven management experience and performance track record.

Responsibilities

  • Manage production and maintenance teams, contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and quantity KPIs.
  • Drive continuous improvement and process optimisation.
  • Compile monthly plant reports and attend client meetings.
