Placements24 in Mossel Bay is seeking enthusiastic and certified Water Sports Instructors to join a popular coastal resort. You will lead surfing, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding lessons, prioritizing safety and guest enjoyment for all ages.

You must hold current First Aid/CPR, be certified in relevant instruction, and have strong communication. Accommodation may be provided; access to equipment and a vibrant team environment complete the offer.

Qualifications

• Certification in relevant water sports instruction (e.g., Surfing Australia, ISA Kayak Instructor).
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Previous experience instructing water sports is highly desirable.
• Excellent swimming ability and comfort in open water conditions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safe and informative water sports lessons for individuals and groups, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Ensure all equipment is in good condition, properly maintained, and securely stored after use.
• Provide on-water supervision and immediate assistance in case of emergencies.
